The meeting of some of the world's greatest DJs, funky drummers, and Brazilian percussionists in Sao Paulo -- documented in the long in the works feature Brasilintime -- B+ and Mochilla's follow up to the already legendary Keepintime film and featuring Babu, Cut Chemist, Madlib, J Rocc, DJ Nuts, Wilson Das Neves, Ivan "Mamao" Conti of Azymuth, Derf Reklaw of the Pharoahs, Joao Parahyba of Trio Mocoto, DJ Nuts and others! With the confluence of hip hop beatmakers and legendary jazz & funky drummers that was the Keepintime live events and documentary as precedent, Mochilla & company set out for Sao Paulo in 2002, and Brasilintime was born. The feature includes loads of live material with the cross cultural percussionists & DJs, interviews, and behind the scenes footage -- from the stage, and on the streets and in record shops of Sao Paulo. Incredible! Disc 1 includes the nearly 2 hour full length feature, plus a photo gallery, and Trainwreck Samba -- a text essay by author Brian McCann.
